Exterior Painting & Decorating Results
EXTERIOR WOODWORK – LOCH ARD
This beautiful property on the banks of Loch Ard was completed in the summer. All the stained wood work was in bad condition so was taken back to bare wood then oiled with Osmo UV protection oil rather than re-stained to prevent future peeling and extend the maintenance cycle from every 5 to every 10 years. All windows doors, fascias and eves were first sanded then primed, undercoated and re-painted white using Gori99 15 year water-based wood paint.
EXTERIOR WOOD WORK ON A LEAN TO – PUMPHERSTON
This little conservatory was in need of restoration. We sanded the entire conservatory down, feathered all the paint edges then primed, undercoated and painted it with Demi-Dekk Ultimate water-based wood paint in mahogany.
MASONRY PAINTING – DENNY
This property hadn’t been painted before so we power washed the exterior first, treated it with and anti-fungal solutions then sprayed the masonry in an off white with the window surrounds a mid-grey.
EXTERIOR CLADDING PROTECTION – CALLANDER
This amazing property near Callander is fully cladded in Larch. Although the wood is pressure treated for longevity the client asked us to spray the cladding in a clear UV protection oil. We used the brand Osmo, a Scandinavian company who are at the fore front of wood protection technology, pioneers in the field. We sprayed two coats leaving a day between each coat.
MASONRY & WOODWORK – FALKIRK
For this property we sanded all the windows, fascias & eves to feather the old paint then undercoated and painted all the woodwork in a deep red, the masonry was painted magnolia and the red stone trim Quarry Red.
